SCRIP is a program in which School or Parish Families order Gift Certificates/Gift Cards through MCC to shop at area grocery or retail stores and restaurants. MCC purchases the certificates at a discounted price from the merchants. Families pay face value for the certificates/cards. The percentage we receive varies from 2% to 12% depending on the merchant (averages about 5%). These Certificates/Cards are the same as cash; you may use them to buy anything in the business. You may also use manufacturers’ coupons as you normally would.
SCRIP orders must be turned in by 10:00 AM every Monday and will be delivered by the end of the week. Merchant lists are available in the office, or by clicking here.
